About us

Ormanäs Stugby has a long and warm history that stretches back to the mid-20th century, when the place served as a small holiday village for Malmö Spårvägar employees. Here, among the forest and lake, simple cottages were built for rest, community and days off – far from the noise of the city.

Today, the cottage village is owned by Åsa and Stefan, who manage the place with care and respect for history and carry it forward into the future. They preserve the genuine and natural feel, but at the same time develop the experience for today’s guests.

In 2026, it is Camilla Jönsson who, together with her staff, takes responsibility for the operation of Ormanäs Stugby. Camilla also runs Nyrups Naturhotell and is passionate about guiding guests into nature.

At Ormanäs Stugby, the forest embraces you – with tranquility, presence and a feeling that time is allowed to slow down. Here, past and present meet in an environment created for recovery and peace.
