Here, in the middle of Skåne, close to everything, lies Ormanäs Stugby – a place where the forest embraces you and time slows down. In the unique retro cottages, you live simply and close to nature. The tranquility envelops you from the moment you arrive.
The cottage village emerged as a holiday village in the first half of the 20th century. The fine renovation has preserved their unique charm. Today, the cottage village is run by Camilla and her staff. They ensure that you get a well-prepared and restful experience.
Ormanäs Stugby is owned by Åsa and Stefan, whose vision is to preserve the feeling of peace and community while giving the place the care it needs.

OUR SURROUNDINGS
Ormanäs Stugby offers a wonderful forest stay and nice, quiet days with cottage crafts. There is a lot to discover in the area and you can find lots of excursion tips on the Visit MittSkåne website.
If you want even more excursions, it is close to all the different corners of Skåne! Take the train, the car or rent a bike from us.
RELAX AND UNWIND
No matter how you choose to experience Ormanäs Stugby, there is everything you need to relax, take it easy and enjoy the fresh air and surroundings. Take a walk, play a game, take a nap or visit the nearby Ormanäsgården with its fine farm shop.

Ormanäs Stugby gives you a base for Skåne excursions!

In Ormanäs Stugby you can live simply and close to nature, in the middle of the forest. Here you will find unique vintage-style cottages, all with a slightly different character – perfect for a weekend or short week. The cottages are newly renovated but with their original character preserved. This provides a unique opportunity for close-to-nature simplicity.
HISTORY
Before the middle of the last century, Malmö Trams created its own holiday paradise to offer its employees time off. They operated Ormanäs Semesterby, as it was called until the late 1990s. All the cottages that are now ready for summer residence have been carefully restored.
In Ormanäs Cottage you can easily stay in fresh and unique cottages. The cottages have electricity but no running water. Shower, toilet and nice washing-up facilities are available in a fresh service building. Sheets are included in the stay. Feel free to add ingredients for dinner and breakfast as well as a delicious coffee break (Swedish fika)
